I love writing. I started writing skits and short plays for my third-grade elementary school class. My friends and teachers were all delighted by my ideas and great sense of humor. My teachers often wondered why a boy with a highly creative mind was such a lousy student. Right at that moment, I knew what I wanted. A high school English teacher and famous writer. Unfortunately, I had to put that dream on hold. Life got in the way. Now, I’m finally living my dream; creating wonderful adventures that explore what it means to be human on a very large stage.
Born in Philadelphia my parents moved us to Miami Beach where I lived for 54 years. After the service, I finished my BA in English Literature hoping for a teaching job. There were none in the 1970s. Having few options, I went into sales. Through networking, I joined Honeywell in 1982 as a home security specialist. As I developed my sales skills, I moved into middle management with Honeywell's Home Automation and became a Team Leader in developing the sales model for this division. When Honeywell sold the division, I went to work with Edwards Systems Technology and was forced into early retirement in 2009. I'm a cancer survivor and have a different perspective on life. I followed my youngest daughter to S. Cal in 2015 with a writing career in mind. The experience of dealing with a serious disease has also given me a mature attitude toward my writing. I currently live with my older daughter and our two dogs enjoying life in the beautiful foothills of San Marcus, CA.
